Our business is seeking a Global Sales Manager to provide leadership
to the Sales and Engineering/Innovation teams across the US and Europe.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Growth Strategy
- Responsible for development of the commercial strategy for Motion business in NA and EU. The goal is to identify growth opportunities for the different Growth Levers within the Motion space that allow us to deliver organic growth rates as required in the AP and LRP. Aggressive growth Mindset is required to teach and spread within the team.
- Hands on mentality owing accounts/projects to lead from the top
- Develop, implement and drive the commercial strategy plans, Annual Plan and Long-Range Plan, aligning and mapping resources and needs to ensure above-market average growth. Prepare the required templates and presentations for the LRP and AP.
- Present the Growth Strategy for the Global Motion to the Senior Management, as well as regular updates during the year.
- Facilitate global strategy development for Global Motion through the collection and analysis of customer wants and needs, market trends and competitive positions.
- Together with BUM and Innovation Manager, actively support the FTB Explore evaluations and support the CBI Pipeline within Global Motion
Growth Execution
- Execution of organic growth strategy for Global Motion through a commitment to the ITW commercial process, follow-through, KPIs and continuous development.
- Develop and Deploy Goals for the Sales Team for Global Notion to support Annual and LRP Goals (ex., Sold Orders, penetration by OEM, $ per car by OEM, Project Status Report).
- Meet or exceed AP and/or LRP Sold Orders to ensure the expected growth rates for the Global Motion business.
- Demonstrate success in high-stakes, high-value 80’ sales opportunities with deep understanding of critical commercial competencies, including customer intimacy, competitive analysis, value selling, negotiation tactics to win.
- Close collaboration with the Innovation Team to support the Customer Back Innovation Process
- Coordinate the commercial activities with the Global Team and Customers in EU and NA. Understands and guides team in effectively communicating the value proposition of our product line.
- Reporting: sales reports, sold orders, new and lost business, status updates, etc.,

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience, Skills & Education

- At least 5 years’ experience with sales in the automotive industry, with plastic manufacturing experience a plus.
- At least 3 years’ experience in sales management or engineering management role; demonstrated experience managing more than one function is a plus.
- Solid financial and MS Excel abilities, including working knowledge of budgeting, forecasts, business models and both short and long-term planning.
- Excellent communication skills, including MS PowerPoint, verbal and written, to meet a variety of stakeholder communication needs and at a variety of levels.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or equivalent ITW experience; engineering degree strongly preferred.
- Willing to travel up to 40%; both domestic and internationally
